The Santa Fe Indians softball squad (Santa Fe, TX), was edged 5-4 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX)

With the triumph, Conroe improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Grand Oaks (Spring, TX) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a record of 10-0.

The Indians now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Angleton for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Friday, February 28. Santa Fe will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
