The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) and the visiting Junction Eagles (Junction, TX), observed D'Hanis's softball team get by Junction by a tally of 7-5.
The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls go into the non-league bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Hondo tipped Bandera (Bandera, TX), 12-10, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 28. Junction will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Punchers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 10-8 league loss to Junction (Junction, TX).
