The Lake Creek Lions softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Hargrave Falcons to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alvin for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Lake Creek will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Hargrave moves to 8-4 on the season. The Falcons host Bridge City (Bridge City, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Bridge City won 21-1 in their recent non-league battle against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX)
