The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) and the host Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX), observed Irvin's softball team prevail over Loretto by a tally of 21-10.

The Rockets (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Chaparral was routed by Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 19-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Angels clash with the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 7. Loretto will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
