The Lamesa Tornadoes overwhelmed the visiting O'Donnell Eagles softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tornadoes meet the Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Lamesa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors go into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Estacado was routed by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 23-1, in a non-league challenge.
