The Legacy Longhorns edged the host Spring Creek Spartans softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns play the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
