Texas High School Softball - McKinney succumbs to Midland

February 27, 2025: McKinney, TX 75069

In Thursday's non-league test, the Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 28. Midland will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Chaparrals go into the test with a 9-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX).

The Lions (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Denison (Denison, TX). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Denison was routed by Aubrey (Aubrey, TX), 18-2, in a non-league test.
