The Cardinals (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Collinsville tipped Dodd City (Dodd City, TX), 13-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 match, on Friday, February 28. Sam Rayburn will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Tomcats go into the match with a 0-3 record after their 24-0 league loss to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX).
