The Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX), 9-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 28. Georgetown will encounter a Kangaroos squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 6-4.
The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks enter the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Pioneer was overwhelmed by Georgetown (Georgetown, TX), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
