The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), saw Pershing County's baseball team get by Hug by a tally of 7-6.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

The Hawks now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battle Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, February 27.
