The Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) baseball smashed the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 15-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Calvary Day prevailed over Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Sharks face the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 2. Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 5-1 league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA).
