The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) and the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), saw Poth's baseball team gain a win over Jay by a tally of 6-0.

The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers/Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Floresville was overwhelmed by Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 27. Jay will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Billies come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX).
