Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their baseball team beat the host Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Rivera held off Palmview (La Joya, TX), 4-0, in a non-league match.

The Trojans now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Joya for a non-league match on Friday, February 27. Jones will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over United (Laredo, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-1.
