Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) fans exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), 3-1 in a non-league match.

The Pirates (13-2) will now prepare for their match against Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Navarro by Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX), 14-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Coyotes battle the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 27. Alice will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Aggies go into the match with a 1-11 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX).
