In Friday's non-league test, the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) softball team nipped the host Baldwin Park Braves (Baldwin Park, CA), by a margin of 10-9.
The Lobos now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southlands Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 3. Workman will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
