Texas High School Softball - Salado falls to Leander

In Friday's non-league match, the host Leander Lions softball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the Salado Eagles.

The Lions (12-4) will now prepare for their match against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Little River Academy was routed by Troy (Troy, TX), 12-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 28. Salado will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, TX).
