The Edgewood Lions baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Diamond Ranch Panthers to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Red Devils go into the Miramonte match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Pomona edged California (Whittier, CA), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Jurupa Valley edged Entrepreneur (Highland, CA), 23-0, in a non-league match.
