North Carolina High School Baseball - Highland Tech wallops Piedmont Community Charter

Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 19-9 in a non-league test.

With the win, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Wolves in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 2. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lincolnton lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against North Iredell (Olin, NC)

With the defeat, Piedmont Community Charter falls to 0-1 on the season. The Patriots host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Thursday, March 3. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
