The Simi Valley Pioneers lacrosse squad (Simi Valley, CA), was nipped 9-8 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Downey Vikings (Downey, CA)

Coming up next, the Vikings face the Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 12. Downey will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 2. Simi Valley will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 16-8 non-league win over Valencia (Valencia, CA).
