In Monday's non-league test, the visiting South Lake Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Edgewater Eagles.
The Eagles now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Minneola for a 1A D6 test on Tuesday, March 1. South Lake will face a Hawks squad coming off a 18-6 league win over All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Wekiva Mustangs (Apopka, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 3. Edgewater will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 0-6 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Olympia (Orlando, FL).
