Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 23-0 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Marana for a challenge on Thursday, March 3.

With the loss, Rincon/University falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to battle the Colts in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
