The Broughton Capitals lacrosse squad (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC)

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Friday, March 4. Middle Creek will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC).

The Capitals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Green Hope for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 1.
