Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets confront the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 1. Dixie will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

The Bengal now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Laurens for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Brashier Middle College Charter will confront a Raiders team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
