The Hernando Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Center Hill Mustangs to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Hernando improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Corinth (Corinth, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 1. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 2-1. Corinth won 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a 6A Region 1 game, on Thursday, March 3. Center Hill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS).
