The Montgomery Vikings softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting West Harrison Hurricanes to 11 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Montgomery improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Gulfport (Gulfport, MS) to clash with the Admirals in a non-league game on Monday, February 28. The Admirals come into the game with a record of 4-2. Gulfport won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS)

In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 1. West Harrison will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Aggies come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS).
