The Sumter County Panthers baseball team (Americus, GA), 17-15 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA)

The Bobcats now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pataula Charter Academy for a 1A D-II Area 1 outing on Thursday, March 2. Early County will face a Panthers team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.

Next, the Panthers face the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 3. Sumter County will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 4-3 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Dougherty (Albany, GA).
