Texas High School Baseball - Hidalgo loses to Falfurrias

The Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys crushed the host Hidalgo Pirates baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Fightin' Jerseys now possess a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host La Feria for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. Falfurrias will face a Lions team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Pirates face the San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. Hidalgo will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Greyhounds enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX).
