In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) basketball squad edged the host Arlington Red Devils (Arlington, OH), by a count of 51-47.
The Chieftains (19-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mohawk (Sycamore, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 20-3 record. In their last outing, Mohawk held off Vanlue (Vanlue, OH), 80-40, in a non-league outing.
