The Bishop Ireton Cardinals topped the visiting Trinity Episcopal Titans basketball team by a final score of 73-61 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 1. Bishop Ireton will attempt to move on its 16-14 season record. The Saints enter the game with a 25-3 record after their 74-64 non-league win over Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA).
With the defeat, Trinity Episcopal moves to 16-11 on the year.
