Louisiana High School Basketball - New Iberia edges East Ascension

The New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) basketball nipped the visiting East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA), 36-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (28-3) will now prepare for their test against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 21-10 record. In their last test, Northshore got by Salmen (Slidell, LA), 76-74, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 15-15 record.
