The Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), 61-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Oilers (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Petoskey notched a victory over Boyne City (Boyne City, MI), 72-64, in a non-league test.
The Bluejays now own a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Gladwin for a Jack Pine test on Thursday, March 2. Shepherd will encounter a Flying G's squad coming off a 53-52 non-league loss to Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 12-8.
