California High School Basketball - San Joaquin Memorial holds off Whitney

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers (Fresno, CA) and the host Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA), saw San Joaquin Memorial's basketball squad hold off Whitney by a tally of 51-48.

With the victory, San Joaquin Memorial improves its record to 20-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 25-6. Monte Vista won 62-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Branham (San Jose, CA)
