In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Florence Gophers baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Superior Panthers.
The Gophers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Minotaur go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Miami (Miami, AZ). The Vandals go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Miami overcame Morenci (Morenci, AZ), 9-8, in a league game.
