In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), by a margin of 20-2.
With the triumph, Los Lunas moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league contest on Monday, March 6. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Rio Rancho won 16-12 in their recent non-league contest against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 3. Aztec will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
