Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets confront the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) in a 2A Area 7 challenge, on Friday, March 3. Rockmart will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 0-0 league North Murray (Chatsworth, GA).
The Eagles now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temple for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Mt. Zion will confront a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Model (Rome, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
