The Rusk Eagles routed the visiting Alto Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 21-9 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Tatum was routed by Hallsville (Hallsville, TX), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to LaPoynor for a non-league battle on Friday, March 3. Alto will meet a Flyers squad coming off a 18-12 non-league win over Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 1-1.
