Texas High School Softball - Hondo edged by Charlotte

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Charlotte Trojans softball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hondo Owls.

With the triumph, Charlotte moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Taft (Taft, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league contest on Friday, March 3. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 10-3. Taft won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX)

In their next game, the Owls play the Bandera BULLDOGS (Bandera, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 2. Hondo will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The BULLDOGS come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Poteet (Poteet, TX).
