North Carolina High School Softball - Topsail bounces Dixon

February 28, 2023: Hampstead, NC 28443

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), witnessed Topsail's softball squad tip Dixon by a count of 11-4.

The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Apex Friendship for a non-league match on Friday, March 3. Topsail will face a Patriots squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Dixon moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Stallions in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Stallions go into the match with a record of 1-1. Southwest Onslow won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC)
