New Mexico High School Softball - Highland loses to West Mesa

The West Mesa Mustangs softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Highland Hornets to 4 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, West Mesa improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, March 2. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 1-0. Volcano Vista won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Aztec (Aztec, NM)
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 2. Highland will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Pintos come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 20-4 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM).
