Arizona High School Softball - Higley bounces Independence

The Higley Knights routed the host Independence Patriots softball squad by a final score of 18-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs go into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, El Dorado was routed by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 18-7, in a league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 1. Independence will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
