Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX), 13-11 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burleson for a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, March 3.

With the loss, Midlothian falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Seguin (Arlington, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
