North Carolina High School Baseball - Pine Forest nips Jack Britt

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), by a final score of 8-7.

With the win, Pine Forest upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. South View won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)

With the defeat, Jack Britt falls to 0-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Overhills lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC)
