Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Averroes Falcon (Fremont, CA), 38-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redding Christian upgrades its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 26-6. Cornerstone Christian won 97-90 in their recent non-league bout against Valley Christian (Roseville, CA)
