The Richwoods Knights tipped the visiting Kankakee Kays basketball team by a final score of 70-66 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Richwoods will attempt to move on its 27-4 season record. The Redbirds enter the game with a 30-4 record after their 69-37 non-league win over LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).

With the defeat, Kankakee moves to 27-5 on the year.
