In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lenape Indians basketball team scored a tight 62-59 triumph over the Toms River North Mariners.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Eastern Vikings (Voorhees, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Lenape will attempt to better on its 26-4 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 26-4 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Central Regional (Bayville, NJ).
With the defeat, Toms River North moves to 19-8 on the year.
