In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), by a margin of 78-40.

The Patriots (27-4) will now prepare for their outing against Columbia (Decatur, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 28-3 record. In their last outing, Columbia smashed Southwest (Macon, GA), 55-37, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 22-8 record.
