The Monroe Golden Tornadoes basketball team (Albany, GA), was overwhelmed 75-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA)

The Patriots now possess a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. Sandy Creek will battle a Tigers team coming off a 76-53 non-league win over Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 24-5.
