With the win, Mira Costa upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA) to face the Dons in a non-league outing on Friday, March 1. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Santa Barbara won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA)

The Griffins now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Newport Harbor for a non-league outing on Friday, March 1. Los Alamitos will face a Sailors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 7-1.
