Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), 71-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Miners travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to play the Campers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Campers go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Allegany won 53-23 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD)
