In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Vergennes Commodores basketball team scored a decisive 69-37 triumph over the Winooski Spartans.
In their next game, the Commodores meet the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Vergennes will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 16-4 record after their 53-32 non-league win over West Rutland (West Rutland, VT).
